11 July 2013 – The US navy successfully lands an unmanned drone on an aircraft carrier at sea for the first time. The defence department said the X-47B drone, nicknamed Salty Dog 502, flew from Maryland and landed on the deck of the USS George HW Bush in the Atlantic on Wednesday
