iPhone First Generation 8GB

Apple portable media got a major upggrade with the introduction of the iPhone. Originally announced on January 9, 2007 Apple entered the market with its first Smart Phone market. With it signature touch screen and minimal interface that renders a virtual keyboard or custom interface options when necessary. The first generation iPhone has a 2.0 Megapixel camera, portable media functions, internet (including email, web browsing, and Wi-Fi connductivity) as well as text messaging and visual voicemail. First-generation phones were released with quad-band GSM EDGE.

iPod Indulgence

It's a happy little family. And it doesn't include the one shuffle and two nano's that I gave away. These are music devices and I consider the iPod Touch more of a connected device than something that I use for music. Yes, you can only listen to one at a time, which is why it's today's March Break Indulgence photo.

Newton MessagePad 110 (14 years old and still working) and iPhone

I guess there was no Y2K problem with the Newton. Notice the date and event I scheduled here (view large). 14 years old and this thing still works! Note size compared to the iPhone. I should have taken a shot of the Newton's modem. The modem alone is much larger than the iPhone.
