While we were in London, riots were raging around London, and although they hardly touched the centre of the city, there was a large police presence. A number of times we saw police cars and riot vans wizz along Westminster Bridge. We were also lucky enough for our tour of the House of Parliament to not be canceled as Parliament was recalled for the day after our tour !
