BOSTON (April 18, 2013) - Representatives of faith communities across Boston and Massachusetts gathedred in the Cathedral of the Holy Crosson Thursday morning for an Interfaith Prayer Service called "Healing Our City" in response to the bombings at the Boston Marathon on April 15. In addition to a reflection from Cardinal Seán, remarks were heard from Rev. Liz Walker, Roxbury Presbyterian Church; Metrpolitan Methodios of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston; Rev. Nancy Taylor, Old South Church; Rabbie Ronne Friedman, Temple Israel; Nasser Wedaddy, American Islamic Congress; Rev. Roberte Miranda, Congregación León de Judá; and Bishop John M. Borders, Morning StarBaptist Church. Also offering remarks were Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and President Barack Obama.
